Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Maids + Mojo. By booking a service or using our website (www.maidsandmojo.com), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. We keep things simple, fair, and respectful. If you have questions, we’re just a message away.

1. Services Covered
We offer a range of residential cleaning services including standard, deep, move-in/out, hourly, and add-on services. Specific inclusions are listed on our website and in your booking confirmation. We reserve the right to update services or pricing at any time.

2. Booking & Payment
• All bookings will be confirmed through our official website, whether initiated via phone, chat, or our online booking form.
• We accept major credit/debit cards. Payment is processed via a secure third-party platform.
• A valid credit/debit card is required to schedule any service. A temporary authorization hold will be placed prior to the appointment.
• Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed to in writing. The card on file will be charged for the full amount at that time.
• Cleanings are subject to availability and may be reassigned to a different team if necessary.
• Bookings will be automatically scheduled at the cadence specified at checkout unless your plan is changed or bookings are rescheduled.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We know life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule:
• 24+ hours’ notice: 100% refund or reschedule at no cost.
• 4–24 hours’ notice: 75% refund.
• Less than 4 hours’ notice: 50% refund.
• No-answers or cancellations during service are non-refundable.
• Recurring Bookings: If you cancel your recurring plan before the end of the commitment period, a $99 early termination fee applies.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to love your clean. If you’re not satisfied, let us know within 24 hours of your service. We’ll schedule a complimentary re-clean within 7 days. If you’re still unhappy, we’ll issue a full refund.

5. Liability & Damage Policy
Our cleaning teams take care while in your space. However:
• Maids + Mojo is not liable for pre-existing damage, improperly secured valuables, or normal wear and tear.
• If something gets damaged during cleaning, let us know within 24 hours. We’ll assess the issue and may offer repair, replacement, or compensation at our discretion.
• Our company and cleaners are insured with general liability policies.

6. Entry & Safety
• Customers may provide entry via lockbox, digital code, key drop, or in-person.
• Pets should be secured during service.
• We require a smoke-free environment while services are being performed. Customers should refrain from smoking indoors during the cleaning appointment.
• We require a safe and hazard-free environment for our cleaners.
• For health and safety reasons, our cleaning services do not include the handling or disposal of bodily fluids (including blood, vomit, feces, or other potentially infectious materials). If these are present, we reserve the right to pause or decline the service and recommend a specialized biohazard cleaning provider.

7. Non-Solicitation Policy
Customers agree not to hire or attempt to hire Maids + Mojo team members independently for one year after the last service. Violations may result in a $1,000 fee.

8. Privacy
We collect limited personal information to provide service. This may include your name, address, phone, email, and payment details. See our Privacy Policy for full details. We never sell your information. We may share it with third parties for:
• Scheduling
• Payment processing
• Background checks (team members only)

9. Promotions & Gift Cards
• Discounts and coupons are for new customers only, unless otherwise noted.
• One promotional offer per household, unless otherwise noted.
• Gift cards are non-refundable and expire 6 months after purchase.

10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services means you accept any changes. The effective date at the top of this document will always reflect the most recent version.
